Tarragona is a city of more than 2200 years of antiquity, located in Catalonia (Spain), at the peak of a small hill on the Mediterranean sea shore, has a current population close to 150,000 inhabitants

Tarragona was the most important capital in the Roman Hispania and still retains a set of Roman buildings declared as World Heritage by UNESCO, as the Roman amphitheater, the city walls or the impressive Roman aqueduct among many others, making it one of the most important tourist destinations in Europe.

In the old part of the town you can also find the Cathedral, with a style halfway between Gothic and Romanic, as well as several museums of medieval times that will give you an idea of how life was in the medieval Tarragona.
